Accountant/Bookkeeper (Part-Time/Contract)
Handle bookkeeping and Sri Lanka tax withholding compliance for a small, growing software development company — a focused, recurring role, not a general finance function. Year-end accounts and statutory filing are handled by an external firm; this role is the execution layer in between: keeping our books current in Xero, and getting withholding tax right on what we actually pay our contractor team each month, filed on time.

Own delivery across our AI product portfolio — you won't be tied to a single product, but will move between projects as priorities shift. Current work includes an AI-powered invoice processing platform integrating with major ERP and accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Xero), with more in the pipeline. You'll be the connective tissue between engineering, DevOps, and clients on whichever project needs it — turning requirements into shippable work, keeping releases on track, and managing the pilots and integrations that make these products production-grade rather than demos.
